About Us
We are an Antique & Art Gallery located in Tryon, NC

Our Story & Mission
With over 35 years of experience, Missi Youngblood —CEO and Principal Designer of Missi & Co.—has expanded her creative vision with the opening of Fortunate Finds, an antique and art gallery rooted in timeless style and artistic integrity. Dividing her time between Florida and North Carolina, Missi’s lifelong love for the WNC mountains led her to purchase a second home in Tryon, where inspiration struck to share her design sensibilities with a new community.
As Missi & Co.’s client base organically extended beyond Western Florida, the need for a distinctive, elevated design destination in North Carolina became clear. Fortunate Finds emerged from that vision—offering not only a curated collection of fine art and antiques, but also a full-service design firm capable of building, renovating, and sourcing bespoke pieces that complete and elevate any interior.
With a client-first approach, our goal is to deliver that final, joyful detail that makes a house truly feel like home. Whether you’re seeking a trusted design partner or simply looking to refresh your space, we are here to bring your vision to life. We look forward to seeing you.

Missi Youngblood
Owner, Lead Designer
Missi Youngblood’s passion for design began in her childhood, helping her father build and renovate homes in South Carolina. After studying interior design, she launched her career with a commercial firm in Atlanta before founding The Dream Home Coach in Florida, working with builders, developers, and private clients.
Since returning to South Carolina in 2009, her work has spanned from the coast to the North Carolina mountains. A member of the Interior Design Society (IDS), Missi’s award-winning designs have been featured in Sarasota Magazine, SRQ, and South Carolina Homes & Gardens.
